Web design
I specialise in producing websites that are clear, clean and effective. And also very easy to manage. Clients have ranged from local government to small, on-line retailers. This website is an example of my work. Here are a few others...Buxton Drama League
Buxton Drama League has been entertaining local audiences with their amateur productions since the 1920s. They did have a small website hosted by a council-sponsored service. But this is now closing - presumably because of government cuts.I've created a new site for the group, updating all their existing content as well as providing web hosting and email accounts. They're also able to create and edit pages themselves using a sophisticated content management system.
Barn Cottage Holidays
This site is a good example of my 'website starter package'. They usually take me a couple of days from start to finish, and I charge them at £480+VAT, which would typically include:- Home page
- Profile page
- Services page
- Contact page
- Testimonials page
Natural head lice treatments
I first created this website back in 2006 to compliment a report I produced for Botanicals (see below), a company specialising in natural body care products. It gets a lot of hits but was beginning to look its age, so I've just finished redesigned it from top to bottom.I think most websites would benefit from a regular overhaul. And this is a good example of what can be achieved within a fairly limited budget.

Local history project
Life shouldn’t be all work and no play, so this is a personal project reflecting my interest in local history.Launched in January 2010, the site offers an insight into the history of my home village of Waltham on the Wolds, including old photos, historic maps and many tales of times gone by.
